Our approach

We confirm that an opportunity is viable before we structure it.

One country, 24 markets

Alcohol is legal in 24 of India’s 28 states. Each one has its own rules.

Alcohol is a state subject under India’s Constitution. Every state sets its own excise duty, prices, brand registration and route to market. In some, retail is run by state corporations; in others it is private. Bihar, Gujarat, Mizoram and Nagaland prohibit alcohol.
